It takes a little time to accept that two such slender aluminium columns can produce such accomplished hi-fi sound. Even when the deep impetus in the bass range is provided by an additional subwoofer, the ensemble loses nothing of its ability to surprise. BASIC 2000 T plays pure, stirring music with dynamism and boldness. Such sound quality is usually only associated with high-quality loudspeakers in wooden cabinets. The immensely strong and low-resonance aluminium section is just as much responsible for this as the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer diaphragms of the woofers. Extra-powerful magnets provide accuracy and the strength to handle HIGH pulsation. And a large but lightweight fabric dome carries the pleasure in music through to the highest notes. BASIC 2000 T demonstrates yet again how beautiful music can be - both on the ear and to the eye. And yet these loudspeakers are astonishingly modest: they only take up a little space and they harmonize with practically any living room décor and any amplifier electronics. As you'd expect from quadral, the BASIC 2000 T can be added to make a complete surround system.
