The PLATINUM ULTRA 2 is outstanding for its superb musical performance whilst requiring a minimum of space. It goes without saying that its compact dimensions mean less deep-down bass response than the larger units in the family, but this is certainly a PLATINUM in every other way. Just like its sister units, this speaker impresses across the board with crisp bass runs, natural-sounding voices and finely detailed trebles. The PLATINUM ULTRA 2’s slender design and a suspension fitting on the rear panel make it ideal for wall-mounting, but it feels equally at home on a bookshelf. ULTRA 2 is the practical loudspeaker for hi-fi stereo and home cinema sound.
