CHROMIUM SURROUND 5.0 is the name given to the superb hi-fi and surround-sound speaker set from quadral. The elegant, high-gloss finished housings, which are available in black or white, use sophisticated internal technology,
which combines modern styling with timeless solidity and exceptional sound.
Our STYLE 20 has been used as the cornerstone for the CHROMIUM STYLE 2008 set, in which the four powerful shelf speakers produce the punchy stereo and home-cinema reproductions. If a QUBE 8 is added to the set, then it will take you down to the deepest bass areas. The centre speaker, which has been specially optimised to ensure speech intelligibility, assumes the centralised main sound role in this surround-sound set, so that the sound seems to come directly from the flat-screen.

Small but nice, that’s how you could describe the very well crafted speakers of the Chromium Style Set in a nutshell. Already the appearance appears noble and cultivated, and the sound performance fits exactly to the optical appearance. Complex acoustic construction and charismatic voice reproduction are often feared enemies of inexpensive and compact loudspeaker sets – but not for the Chromium Style Ensemble: the Hanover speakers are particularly good at neatly elaborating voices and presenting elaborate instrumental structures. The Qube 8 subwoofer, which has already been tested, is the ideal complement to the homogeneous and lively passive components.
